Meet our Current Members and Board

Paula Lively

Our 2026 Board President

Originally primarily a pencil artist, Paula now devotes her artistic expression through the use of acrylic paints.  In her work, she aims to express humor, love, or a memory to her friends, family and neighbors.

By virtue of this ideal, in 2005 Paula opened the Studio 5000 Gallery in NLR, a cultural venue to nurture, create and communicate artistic expression through various disciplines, including Art and Fashion Design, to name a few.

And, we might add, her prior experience in the field of Management, Marketing and Sales will provide a strong level of confidence to lead the ALA Group in 2026 as our Board President. So, let's say welcome to the fray and brushes up!

Anne Parat - Member

Behind every service we provide is a dedicated team of professionals, each bringing their unique expertise and enthusiasm to our business.  Anne, absolutely, has those qualities, and we thank her for her contributions to the League.

Kim Perkins - Member

Kim is a watercolor artist and one of the founding members of the "Mid-Southern Watercolor Group".  It's not uncommon to find her work at various galleries throughout the year; keep an eye out for her impressive work.

As a side note, we think the above watercolor portrait of Kim was done by her good friend and another qualified member of the ALA, Laura Powers (See Below).

Laura Powers - Member

Laura was "ready for her close-up" (to paraphrase Gloria Swanson) in the portrait above. Here, too, we believe this portrait in watercolors was accomplished by her friend of over 50 years, Kim Perkins (See Above).

Laura is also a Signature Member of the "Mid-Southern Watercolor Group".
